It’s been a while since Silent K formally released some new music. Plenty of tunes have been written, but an “official” release? No. Not since the “No Shortage” EP came out in July of 2005. Wow, that is a long time. But perhaps time put to good use. A revitalized home studio is in place and better production techniques discovered, learned, and incorporated.

The result is Silent Kool. A journey inspired by many things and the first full-length Silent K album. These ten instrumental compositions were written between 2018 and 2021 and collected, finished up and mastered this summer. This is guitars, bass, drums, and keyboards stirred up and swirled around with a generous dollop of cool and plenty of groovy tones and textures.

This album is dedicated to Jude with extreme gratitude. Couldn’t do any of this without your love and support! Don’t think I’ve told you lately how much I care about you.
